Rivercity Mechanical are seeking a qualified automotive mechanic to be part of our team.

We are a busy family owned business that carry’s out service and repairs on a wide variety of vehicles in two great locations.
We also hold a current RAA roadside service contract.

To be successful within this role you must:

• Hold a qualification as a light vehicle mechanic (Certificate III Preferred).
• Have a strong work ethic, strong communication skills
• Be able to work within a team environment and independently.
• Be available to work Monday to Friday.  Weekends and overtime also available.
• Hold a driver’s Licence: (Australian Preferred)
• Be willing to complete RAA certified course to become a road side service attendee.

Daily work routine:

• Perform routine vehicle servicing and maintenance
• Communicate with customers to understand issues, concerns and provide work estimates
• Inspect vehicles and parts to identify issues
• Repair vehicles and parts based on identified issues
• Test drive vehicles after repairs to ensure soundness and determine whether there are further issues.
• Use computer diagnostic equipment and software to identify issues
